The Optometry Department successfully conducted the IKSHA 25 Continuing Medical Education (CME) program on 5th April 2025, at the Emerald Hall, Academic Block, MMC. With 320 participants, the event was inaugurated by Chairman Mr. V. Anil Kumar.
The program covered a wide array of topics under Pediatric Optometry, Binocular Vision, and Myopia Control Lenses. Renowned speakers Dr. Lakshmi C, Professor department of ophthalmology, MMCH. Dr. Namratha, Associate professor Lead Institutional Research, Sankara College of Optometry, Bangalore. Dr. Jyothi Thomas, Principal and Professor, SACPMS and Mr. Manu Krishna K S, ZEISS Myocare Specialist, Keral and Tamil Nadu, Carl Zeiss India Pvt. LTD delivered insightful sessions. This one-day CME provided valuable updates and knowledge, benefiting all attendees in the field.
