Dialysis is a medical procedure that acts as an artificial kidney by removing waste from the blood and excess fluids from the body when kidney failure or disease prevents them from doing so. Dialysis technicians are trained to monitor the condition of the patient and to guide the patient through the dialysis process .
The 2-year diploma programmer seeks to provide theoretical and practical training relevant to current dialysis, clinical practice and maintenance of the equipment.
On successful completion of the course Diploma in dialysis technology is awarded by the DIRECTORATE OF MEDICAL EDUCATION, GOVERNMENT OF KERALA.
Shall pass higher secondary examination by 50% marks in physics, chemistry and biology.
